MEP Contracts

Job Overview The MEP Contract will lead efforts to coordinate and manage the MEP trades on ID fit-out projects. They will be working under the Contracts team with close collaboration with the Design and Project teams to ensure successful completion of all MEP trade works. General Responsibilities Participate and work closely with the Design and Project teams

• Review tender requirements, prepare Bills of Quantities, and provide Cost Estimates for MEP scope trades during pre-construction phases.
• Review Contract Documents, making suggestions/modifications for those related to MEP trades.
• Manage and lead MEP subcontractors throughout the duration of the project (from ground-breaking through commissioning and turnover to Client)
• Assist Project team with developing detailed CPM schedules for all MEP installation activities, including cost and resource loading
• Review and approve material and equipment for MEP systems prior to installation
• Coordinate activities, materials procurement, and other related activities with Project Manager and Field Staff
• Communicate progress and prepare appropriate reports as needed
• Take overall responsibility for the performance of all MEP trades

; JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in Construction/MEP Coordination, preferably familiar with commercial office fit-out works
• Good understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general knowledge for AV, IT and Security system
• General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of project
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
• Experienced dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD is essential, with knowledge of QS software such as Cost X considered a plus.
