Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee infrastructure projects, particularly in bridges works, earthworks, and geotechnical works, in Alor Setar, Batu Gajah & Pasir Gudang . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination: Ensure all construction works are carried out in the right sequence and well-coordinated, demonstrating expertise in scheduling, construction oversight, site planning, change management, commissioning, reporting, document management, and contract administration.

2. Timely Project Completion: Oversee and ensure the timely completion of the project with a focus on safety, adherence to specifications, and maintaining the highest quality of work within budget constraints.

3. Integration of Efforts: Take responsibility for integrating the efforts of all contributors on the project, including coordination with the Project Director, JKR, consultants, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.

4. Progress Meetings: Attend all progress meetings and/or client progress meetings, providing updates on project activities, milestones, and addressing any concerns or challenges.

5. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report project progress to the Project Director, including significant milestones, and conditions that could impact project cost, schedule, quality, or risk profile. Develop recommendations and action plans to address issues and risks affecting project execution.

6. Reports Preparation: Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing project activities, achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Construction Management/ Engineering (Civil /Structural) or equivalent.
• Strong preference for more than 20 years of experience in Infrastructure Projects, with a focus on bridges works, earthworks, geotechnical works and roadworks.
• Possess strong project leadership skills and ability with direct to direct teams, including collaboration with JKR, and sub-contractor teams.
• Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Preferably local candidates from Alor Setar, Batu Gajah & Pasir Gudang.
