Project Manager (CSA)

Location: Site office at Nilai

Headcount: 1

Tenure: Permanent

Remuneration: RM8,000 - RM10,000

Responsibilities:

• To ensure the projects/works are completed with safety, on time, within budget, and of quality works to the satisfaction of customers and/or consultants.
• To gather marketing information from customers/customers' representatives pertaining to possible projects and /or job leads through the project execution.
• To ensure all relevant technical expertise/knowledge is made available to the site staff.
• To prepare Construction Work Programme, Project Execution Plan and Progress Report.

- Execute in accordance with the Construction Work Programme and Project Execution Plan

- Ensure Shop Drawings are developed properly and implemented.

- Approve of Shop Drawings

• To coordinate Builder's and M & E's work to accomplish all the site activities.
• To coordinate all subcontractors to accomplish the site activities.
• To lead and motivate all staff in the project.
• To organize relevant meetings in the project.
• To be the Chairman of Occupational Safety and Health Committee for the project.
• To prepare customized KTMS requirements for the project.
• To liaise with customers, consultants, and design team for continual good relationship.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Total Management Systems.
• To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.
• Authority:

- To nomination of subcontractors and suppliers.

- To sign Purchase Orders.

- To issue Nonconformity Report.

- To approve project planning schedules.

- To issue site instructions.

- To determine the types of penalty or action to be taken for violation of OH&S rules and requirements at Project Site, such as issuance of stop work order for part or whole of the works whenever Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations are not being adhered to.

Requirements:

• Degree (Hons) in Civil / Structural Engineering / Construction Management
• With 15 years' working experience in building construction as main contractor and Data Centre
• Able to manage projects from conception to completion in terms of architectural/structural and M&E.
• Possess good verbal & written communication skills
