Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Manage project proposal from conceptual design, feasibility, financial and technical studies, master planning and presentation to the stakeholders

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Responsible in managing and ensuring the adequacy of the design documents and drawings against the required design parameters, design criteria and other relevant standards as per stakeholder requirement.
• Responsible for supervision and monitoring of the review process of all technical submission by Consultant or Turnkey Contractor such as Specifications, Design Drawings and Documents, Materials Approval, ITP, Method
• Statements, T&C Documents, test reports, etc are complying to the Contract and stakeholder requirements in term of time, cost and quality.
• Responsible to timely managing the production of detail and working drawing and issuance of construction drawing to Contractors.
• To asses and notifies any technical variations and makes appropriate recommendation for changes to design or specifications. 6. Coordinating and interfacing with relevant authorities
• Other duties include design audit, preparations of technical specifications, performance specifications, tender documents, budget, cost plan, tender evaluations and managing projects

Key Challenges

Managing overall timeline and costs of the project whilst at the same time ensuring all standards are duly met

• Proven experience and achievement in construction project
• Good knowledge of documentations and requirements of a construction project
• Great leadership qualities and a project minded thinking in seeing completion of things
• Team player and able to work independently

Relevant Industries

External 

Degree with minimum 10 years relevant experience.

Education

External

Degree preferably with specialization in Architecture/ Engineering (Civil&Structural) with experience in international airport operations or maintenance, good knowledge of documentations and requirements of a construction project
