Penerangan Pekerjaan - Site Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Site Coordinator. The Construction Site Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders including contractors, subcontractors, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Management: Manage all aspects of the construction site, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. [Working closely with sub-contractors]
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, monitor progress, and address any issues that may arise. [Coordination between designer, site supervisor & sub-contractor]
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the project, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Communicate project updates, deadlines, and expectations effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that workmanship and materials meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on the construction site. Conduct safety meetings and inspections as required.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities, including daily progress reports, safety inspections, and material deliveries.
  • Problem-solving: Proactively identify potential problems or delays and develop solutions to keep the project on track. Address any issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and expenditures to ensure they align with the budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project costs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite, Excel & AutoCad.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant studies in construction management or a related field (preferred).
