Looking for Business Development Manager for a consulting business. Salary RM8000 and above, with commission up to 10% if exceed sales target.

Our consulting firm, specializing in operational excellence and risk management services, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our business development unit, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities, and building lasting client relationships.

Ideally, the candidate will be familiar with consulting services and already have established relationships with clients/customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, who can work independently and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.

- Identify new markets and customer needs.

- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand our client base and increase revenue

- Promote the company's service offerings and arrange meetings with prospective clients

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and securing repeat business

- Prepare sales contracts and ensure adherence to legal guidelines.

- End-to-end sales process involvement starting from customer meetings, handling inquiries, preparing technical commercial quotations, costing.

- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of proven success in business development, sales, or client management roles (preferably within a professional services or consulting environment)

- Proven record of sales growth.

- Sharp communication, presentation, and negotiation skill

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail

- Ability to build rapport.

- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
