Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the business manager position is to support the development of new and existing business, assists the director and manager in team operations and compliance for ITS in Singapore, ensuring product solutions meet market demands whilst following the strategic direction of the company.

We are looking for a driven individual who has business operations experience, technical expertise and sales management experience preferably in the biotechnology or engineering field and who is a self-starter and well organized. The candidate will plan, coordinate, prioritize, monitor and support company operations by maintaining office systems and efficiency. We seek an experienced professional to also lead the team to deliver positive cultural impact both within ITS and in our markets that we serve.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Business Development Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In charge of overseeing overall business operation and assist the Director in day-to-day tasks in achieving business goals and strategic objectives.
• Plan, manage and coordinate all human resources initiatives which includes but not limited to employee relations, talent acquisition and retention, compensation, and benefits, learning and development, performance management, succession planning and industrial relations.
• Identify, track and update on business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Develop a business intelligence function to measure the impact and result of our business development efforts.
• Designs, drives, and maintains HR policies, business compliance, certifications, programs and procedures, and other related activities (i.e. talent management, relocation, compensation and benefit annual reviews, employee relations, company handbook, office policies, etc.)
• Creating effective presentations and management-level reports.
• Ability to analyse and develop financial acumen for understanding economic benefits of specific projects, taking into consideration various revenue sources and cost impact, capex, opex, and other technical assumptions.
• Work closely with sales, service and project management teams towards achieving business goals and objectives.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Business, Marketing, or HR related education preferred.
• Preferably having experience in relevant markets like healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or industrial engineering.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated success as a HR or Business professional role.
• Have broad understanding of all operational facets of the HR and business operation function including but not limited to Business Optimization, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Organization Development, Change Management, and HR Systems
• The ability to work with accuracy, efficiency and high attention to detail with excellent time and people management skills.
• Excellent professional communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to multi-task and manage effectively and accurately in a deadline-driven, challenging environment.
• Effective professional not bound by convention, respects everyone, leads with humility and sees the big picture.
• A willingness to travel as necessary.
• Individual with high EQ trait will be desirable.
