Our Team:

This position “Change Manager” is part of Sanofi Business Services (SBS), reporting to Head of Benchmark, Improve and Change (BIC).

Sanofi Business Services (SBS) is a Global Business Service (GBS) team within Sanofi organized by pillars:

  • 3 Service Lines that are managing financial & accounting processes,
  • 1 Service Line managing employees-oriented processes,
  • 1 Service Line managing the contracting process.
  • 1 Hub Strategy and Transversal Services team managing the Hub strategy and development providing transversal services for SBS and in some cases all Sanofi

Part of this last pillar, Benchmark, Improve and Change is the team leading SBS Change Management, Continuous Improvement and Performance Management frameworks and their implementation across SBS.

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and execute Change strategy for a portfolio of key strategic projects where a robust change management approach has to be defined, such as:

  • Sanofi Hubs development projects,
  • Most impactful Merger & Acquisitions, Carve-in, Carve-out projects (e.g. multiple countries, several Service Lines),
  • or projects led by Digital impacting all SBS employees.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute change management strategy to maximize adoption and minimize resistance during key strategic projects.
    This includes:
    • Lead Change Management stream and coordinate with the project team to reach the objectives of the project
    • Perform change impact assessment, identify stakeholders, develop change strategy, and integrate change & communication activities into project plan in alignment with project manager and team
    • Perform proper tracking of deliverables, adjust Change & Communication plan adequately and report status to project manager
  • Update and maintain SBS change management methodology and best practices, gather stakeholders and benchmarks inputs for improvements
  • Promote Change Management mindset across SBS organization by:
    • Training Project Managers and other audience to methodology and best practices
    • Establishing and leading a community of Change Agents
  • Provide on an ad-hoc basis Change consultancy and advisory services to Project Managers and other stakeholders.

About you

  • Experience :
    • 3 years experience in global business transformation environment, within GBS Shared Services industry and/or Financial Services.
    • Track record of Change Management methodologies incorporated into strategic project
    • Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies
  • Soft skills :
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including with Senior stakeholders
    • Excellent written and oral communication & inter-personal skills, ability to develop high-quality documents
    • Able to work in uncertain, constantly changing environment
    • Self-starter, initiative-taker, and ability to work independently under pressure.
    • Strong collaboration mindset with ability to work with a group of people with different functional expertise.
    • Multi-tasker, able to establish and keep priorities and timelines to effectively manage workload of self and others
    • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Technical skills :
    • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci) is a plus
    • Knowledge/certification of Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies is a plus
  • Education : Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business field
  • Languages : Fluent in English. Other language is a plus.
