Data Analyst

The Role:

After saving over 1 million sofas from the landfill, we are going through an exciting period of transformation and growth and as part of that Growth, we are looking for a Data Analyst to join the team.

You will partner with key stakeholders across Development, Marketing, and Products, providing insights on consumer trends and behaviors across our e-commerce platform to enhance capability, scale, and drive significant business value & performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis:

• Mine data from all relevant sources including internal data platforms, agencies, Google Analytics, web-based applications, surveys, and media platforms.
• Depth in regression analysis, RFM, fuzzy clustering, mixture forecast modeling, media marketing mix, and customer segmentation models.
• Write SQL queries and modify scripts on Server Databases.

Insights Generation and Stakeholder Management:

• Manage stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of business cases and translating them into actionable insights.
• Take the lead on monitoring performance throughout the customer journey to identify consumption and adoption behaviors.

Reporting and Metrics Tracking:

• Develop KPI/OKR trackers, and download boards, and generate any ad-hoc reports.
• Collaborate with departments to develop and execute key automated strategic departmental metrics.
• Iteratively build and prototype dashboards at scale.

Data Management and Standardisation:

• Plan and scope data utilization processes and integrated data management processes.
• Set data standardization practices.

Digital Marketing and Analytics:

• Possess depth in digital marketing structures, market research, omnichannel engagement, supply chain optimization, and analytics benchmarking.

Other ways you can make an impact

• Proactively analyzing and identifying opportunities to increase website conversions.
• Advocating for analytics and collaborating with other teams to ensure they consider analytics in the development of new features.
• Liaising with the development, finance, and product teams to ensure robust data collection through ongoing tagging.
• Develop frameworks and report on data quality, ensuring that any data integrity issues are easily identified.
• Partner cross-functionally with product teams to provide actionable insights regarding digital customer journeys and shopping behavior on-site.

The Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience.
• Exposure to developing dashboards in Power BI & Tableau
• Domain expertise in the e-commerce industry would be an added advantage.
• Experience in cloud platform technology, predictive modeling, and Google Analytics
• Stakeholder management skills and the ability to gain buy-ins to ensure the best outcomes
• Project discipline and the ability to work in an agile environment
• Logical thinking, strong analytical and mathematical skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Great business/commercial acumen and understanding of global markets
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with proven ability to articulate and present complex information
• Experience in statistics and creating automated dashboards when needed
• Strong Excel skills
