Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities: - Reviewing plans, system schematics, customer specifications, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates.
- Discuss with customers or end users to collect detailed technical requirements for assigned job.
- Working with customers and internal engineering teams to design engineering solutions that meet customer’s requirements.
- Managing the company relationships with existing customers and building
relationships with potential customers to generate new business.
- Understand competitors and align with new strategies to win in competition
- Prepare quotations, costing, and test proposal for project.
- Follow up quotation status with customer.
- Trigger purchasing of equipment and components used in projects.
- Transfer sales to project, weekly project meeting, and monitor project status until project is delivered.
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members, managers, customers and suppliers.
- Provide project updates and supporting records to Project Manager and Sales Manager.
- Assist Project team to obtain / feedback info to customer.
- Handle & manage services related to customer requests & complaints.
- Traveling to customer sites as necessary.
- Field support or development when necessary.
- Ad-hoc support to management requests. Essential skill and requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electronics Engineering.
- Min 1 year working experience in related field.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills with internal team, customers and suppliers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills.
- Project management and analytical skills.
- Willing to travel outstation and overseas.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Willing to work on weekends when required.

Job Responsibilities: - To assist senior engineer on design, assembly and integrate automation equipment.
- To work with customer/project owner to provide technical expertise in automation system design, proof of concept, system set-up, commissioning, FAT & SAT.
- To prepare documentation for automation systems such as electrical circuitry diagrams, maintenance drawings and user manuals.
- To participate in the complete software development according to the specifications.
- To participate in automation systems testing (vision, motion, robotics), program debugging, data collection and I/O checking.
- To provide training/support to customers which is related to automation systems.
- Liaise with vendors to support procurement and solve the issue related to project if required.
- Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned by department managers that are related to department/quality improvement. Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experience in PLC & HMI programming (Omron, Keyence), LabVIEW or equivalent.
- Experience in Robot programming is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good in Microsoft Words/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Outlook
- Proactive and highly independent.
- Good multitasking and time management skills.

Senior Electrical Engineer (Automation Design)

Job Responsibilities: Primary Functions: - To lead a small group of engineers to complete automation projects in-time and within the scope and budget.
- To design and develop the PLC based and PC based control system for complex automation mechanisms.
- To design, develop & debug software programs for complex automation systems, which may include COBOT/ -Industrial Robot programming, advanced motions control using highspeed linear motor, servo & stepper motors.
- To design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams & panel layout for complex electrical systems, which include machine control panels, power distribution and drives systems.
- To participate in data collection and I/O checking for assigned machines/projects.
- To participate in machine system integrations, machine troubleshooting & system commissioning (FAT & SAT).
- To prepare documentation for automation systems such as electrical schematics diagram, user manuals, troubleshooting guide & spare part list.
- To provide training/support to customers’ engineering team, to ensure long term machine/system sustainability. Secondary Functions: - To work with AIMFLEX Technical Sales team, to develop presales proposal, DoE/Proof of Concept, project costings to assists customers to successfully transform into Industrial 4.0.
- To liaise with vendors to support procurement and solve the issue related to project if required.
- To coach junior engineers in technical domains.
- To carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned by department managers that are related to department/quality improvement. Essential skill and requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experience in PLC & HMI programming (Omron, Keyence) is a MUST
- Experience in automation machine/equipment design is a MUST
- Strong logical, analytical and troubleshooting skills is a MUST
- Proactive, highly independent and committed to assigned project is a MUST
- Experience in National Instrument LabVIEW or C#
- Experience in Robot programming (Industrial Robot /COBOT)
- Good multitasking and time management skills.
