Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Regional Recruitment and Stakeholder Engagement Officer. This position will involve a wide range of responsibilities aimed at expanding our reach and impact in South East Asia and the Asia Pacific region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving recruitment activities, fostering strategic partnerships, and engaging with various stakeholders to support the university's objectives. Key responsibilities include:

- Engaging in recruitment activities, including attending education events, supporting relationships with agents, participating in recruitment tours, and visiting schools to identify new opportunities and partnerships.

- Cultivating strong stakeholder relationships with external partners such as agents, embassies, scholarship funders, alumni, and student societies.

- Supporting university-wide marketing campaigns in specific markets, with a focus on digital opportunities and events.

- Providing admissions support as needed, including advising on qualifications and occasionally making offers in select markets.

- Identifying and establishing partnerships with institutions in the region to facilitate student progression, academic research, and study abroad opportunities.

- Leading in-country student recruitment efforts within South East Asia & Asia Pacific, including partnership development.

- Advising on strategic positioning and competitive strategy in relevant markets, particularly Indonesia.

- Supporting and developing our network of agents and institutions through information sharing, training, and exemplary customer service.

- Organizing and participating in promotional activities such as events, exhibitions, and fairs to raise the university's profile in the region.

- Maintaining regular contact with enquirers and applicants to provide support and maximize conversion rates.

- Supporting the development of school engagement initiatives in South-East Asia, including collaboration with university staff on global schools lists and communication plans.

- Assisting with alumni activities in relevant countries, including occasional events and digital engagement.

- Conducting market research to inform overall market intelligence activities, including competitor analysis, identifying new markets, partnership opportunities, and course development.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong understanding of the higher education landscape in South East Asia and Asia Pacific. A willingness to travel and work independently, as well as a commitment to customer service excellence, are essential for success in this role. Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in education marketing, recruitment, or a relevant industry.

Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one major regional language; Mandarin, Cantonese, or Thai would be advantageous but not essential.

Possession of a Bachelor’s degree.

Familiarity with the Higher Education sector in the UK or other key destinations.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally to the UK, with a commitment of at least 15 weeks annually.

Proficiency in computer literacy, including word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.

Demonstrated proactive approach, ability to work autonomously, results-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
