ERP Functional Consultant

People Profilers is hiring on behalf of a leading global consulting firm for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant (Product) based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

Serves as the workstreams Subject Matter Expert (SME) and encourages the application of best practices.

Determines gaps in existing processes establishes new ones and guarantees regional process uniformity.
Offers creative technological and business ideas to increase operational efficacy.
Assists in the timely completion of assigned work packages within the workstream and reports progress to the regional deployment lead. This comprises but is not restricted to:
o Documentation and design of business processes
o User needs specification; o Position papers and assessment and comparison of potential solutions; o Presentation in an ad hoc committee or business community workshop; o Development documentation and execution of test cases
o creation documentation and implementation of training o Definition and creation of transition plans
Adheres to the fundamental project design guidelines established for the workstream. Controls scope within designated work packages and gives priority to needs that maximize organization value (FitForPurpose). actively promotes the use of standard functionality in best practice process adoption.
Maintains the highest caliber of work products and deliverables in accordance with the projects standard tools and documentation.
Targets breakthrough innovations and questions the status quo.
Engages in the entire process of implementing technology. develops and maintains a solid understanding of industry trends and best practices (systems processes etc.).
Notifies the workstream lead right away if there are any delays in activities or issues that come up while the tasks are being completed.
Determine and record problems carry out impact analyses and offer suggestions for solutions
Maintain Global ASPIRE Function Support Lead in communicating with business and user communities stakeholders and generally in all change management efforts. Actively cooperates with BPO BPMs SMEs IT and other partners within and across workstreams and functional areas.
Closely collaborates with the client to guarantee project delivery handover and appropriate project closure
Bring up process and project problems with management.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree (or its equivalent) preferably in computer science information technology or computer engineering
Preferably ERP certification (such as SAP S/4HANA)
At least seven years of fullcycle ERP implementation and support project management expertise including enduser training design development delivery and management
Preferred expertise in the pharmaceutical business; a minimum of seven years of experience creating and implementing SAP Finance modules particularly in the manufacturing finance area and understanding of important integration with other SAP modules

Ability to work in a matrix environment; strong presentation and communication skills; professionalism and selfmotivation
Ability to work independently; initiative; willingness to take on responsibility and pick things up quickly on the job; ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills with experience in solving complex problems
