Remote Support Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Support Assistant to join our team at SIRIM Berhad in Malacca City, Melaka. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide remote support to employees and clients regarding technical issues and inquiries. 2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems via phone, email, or chat. 3. Assist in the setup and maintenance of remote access tools and software. 4. Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex issues and follow up on resolutions. 5. Manage and update documentation related to remote support processes and procedures. 6. Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions for improvement. 7. Maintain confidentiality and security of all information during remote support sessions.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. 2. Proven experience working in a remote support role. 3. Resourceful and reliable with a strong ability to problem-solve under pressure. 4. Excellent strategic planning skills and attention to detail. 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Proficient in remote access tools and software.
