Web Chat Associate - Work from home

Job Description:

We are looking for a driven and hardworking Web Chat Associate to join our team at AirAsia Group Berhad. This is a fulltime remote position based in George Town, Penang, MY. As an Associate Level team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through web chat communication with our valued customers.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through web chat to provide assistance with inquiries, bookings, and issue resolution. 2. Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and provide timely and efficient solutions. 3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience across all communication channels. 4. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards while interacting with customers. 5. Take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution, escalating to management when necessary. 6. Provide leadership and support to junior team members to ensure team success and growth. 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency in customer interactions. 8. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the role.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or related field. 2. Strong written communication skills with a high level of proficiency in English. 3. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work environment. 4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy. 5. Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members. 6. Proficiency in using web chat platforms and other communication tools. 7. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate customer needs and business demands. 8. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
