Web Chat Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and energetic Web Chat Officer to join our team at Malaysia Airlines Berhad in Malacca City, Melaka. As a Web Chat Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat platforms. You will engage with customers in real-time to address their inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience with our airline.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers via web chat to provide information on services, promotions, and bookings. 2. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with customers. 4. Collaborate with other departments to address complex customer inquiries and provide comprehensive solutions. 5. Update customer records and information accurately in the system. 6. Monitor chat performance metrics and strive to meet or exceed performance targets. 7. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the web chat process and enhance the customer experience. 8. Stay up-to-date on airline policies, procedures, and products to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a similar role. 3. Strong communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly and effectively. 4. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. 5. Resilient and able to handle challenging situations with professionalism and grace. 6. Demonstrated innovation and creativity in problem-solving and customer interactions. 7. Proficiency in using web chat platforms and customer relationship management systems. 8. Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude towards customer service. 9. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of colleagues in a global environment.
