Import/Export & Customs (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

This position requires handling and keeping track of the LMW, or value added refurbish service License’s requirements.

 

Job Description

• Shipment arrangement with sales dept. including export by sea, air & land, prepare paperwork (commercial invoice, permit application etc).
• Coordinate transportation operations with forwarders including inquiries, booking, and others.
• Prepare and submit all LMW related reports including monthly statement LMW, customs form, raw material and FG statement, sales, sub-con, scrap and disposal report and others and yearly reporting to reconcile with Financial Statement, i.e. sales ledger and inventory balance etc.
• Dealing with all import/export documentation/permit/form and ensuring it is fully accurate.
• Handle license renewal (LMW and value added refurbish service License’s), machinery and materials exemption applications with government agencies approval.
• Liaison with government agency officers for customs and shipping-related issues and ensuring process and procedure adhere to legal rules requirements.
• Provide support to superior from time to time for any other warehouse and logistics ad-hoc duties.

Job Requirements

• Have at least 2 years experience in the LMW industry and preferred to be in manufacturing industry .
• Able to work independently and minimum supervision.
• Good communication skills, fluent in English both oral and writing as there will be lots of liaison between inter-departments.
• Computer literate, good knowledge in Excel , have some experience in ERP system though is not MUST.
• Self-motivated & with a high degree of responsibility.
