Communication Manager

Position : Communication Manager

Tenure : 8 months contract - renewable basis

Salary : up to Rm 13K

Working mode: Hybrid ( 3 days in office 2 days in home)

Working location : Kuala Lumpur

Job responsibilities

. Collaborate with other teams to identify the public voice of the brand

. Create style guides and brand voice outlines for all public relations, marketing, advertising and other vital departments

. Consult with executive management to develop effective communication procedures and policies for various situations or crises

. Draft press releases and speeches following organizational news

. Write letters, interdepartmental memos and other business correspondence

. Communicate with media outlets and journalists and create press kits

. Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices

. Coach and assist team members on improving communication skill

. Perform communications research and monitor the progress of various communications strategies

Job Requirement

. Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in communications, journalism, Marketing, PR or related field and 7 or more years of experience in related field

. 8-10 years of relevant experience, with progressively increasing responsibility

. Excellent stakeholder management, presence and interpersonal skills - ability to engage directly with stakeholders at all levels

. Excellent English language written and oral communication skills

. Resilient self-starter with a can-do attitude

. Specialty: media management, and corporate communications. Individual contributor with strong stakeholder management

. B2B2C integrated communications within an omnichannel model
