Job Description

Client is an established Electrical & Mechanical Consultancy Practice based in Malaysia engaged in M&E Design Consultancy Works for Data Center Industry.

What are your roles in your new company?

• To perform design, coordination and implementation of Electrical services
• Responsible to coordinate Project planning, site survey, preliminary design and cost estimation.
• Detail designing and calculation for all Electrical services required.
• Preparation of bill of quantities, contract document and site evaluation report.
• Conduct/Attend relevant Authority/Consultant- Client and Certification Body coordination meetings.
• Coordination of works between sub-contractor & monitoring progress to meet schedule in accordance with work program & specs.
• Carry out inspection on all works done by contractors in accordance to standards, specifications and consultants drawing.
• Compile and provide all the required documentations, i.e catalogues, method statements, layout details, design drawings, Operational & Manual (O & M) and As-Built drawings for relevant parties
• Inspect and identify potential defects with regards to M&E installations and recommend repair methods.
• Report and assist to resolve any dispute, technical queries, emergency incidents with reference to the consultants, Senior Manager/Director.

• Minimum 3 years working experience as M&E Engineer in Electrical services for Data Center
• Strong leadership, able to work independently and self-motivated.
• A team player and able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Strong technical knowledge to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.
• Able to travel within Malaysia (Depends on project)
• Adequate/Advance computer skills in Microsoft, Computer-aided design (CAD).
• Physically Fit : Ability to work in industrial setting (site inspection) which includes walking, climbing, bending, and wearing appropriate safety gear

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
