Finance Executive (Reporting)

We are currently seeking a Finance Executive (Reporting) to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts country level reports in accordance with legal, regulatory and accounting / tax standards as well as accounting/controlling guidelines and requirements

• Co-directs supplemental reports in accordance with legal and Group requirements related to the financial statements

• Analyses monthly financial statements; accruals and provisions; balance sheet planning; inter-company elimination, and segment reporting

• Coordinates the resolution of all audit and tax issues for the country

• Manages internal and external auditing activities together with line finance and auditing organization

• GST reporting and reconciliation

• Coordinates budgets for all major reporting projects in the country including integration projects

• Oversees financial transaction processing and reconciliations within the country ensuring that robust controls are in operation and to conform to relevant financial standards

• Ensure Fixed assets tagging carried out for all new addition of asset and update the Fixed assets register timely.

• Support month-end and year-end close process

• Prepare and record accounting journal entries for month end closing

• Ensure adhoc requests are met.

Desired Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum 3 year experience in various general finance functions

• Leads a team through application of broad knowledge in the reporting discipline

• Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent) added advantage

• SAP knowledge will be added advantage

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Degree in Finance/Accounting
