Operations General Manager (Korean Restaurant Chain)

  • Salary: Up to MYR 14,000 / month
  • Benefits: Health Insurance, Performance Bonus, Education Allowance, Transportation Allowance, Work From Home, Free Snacks, Coffee/Tea
  • Work Hours: Flexible, with an option to work from home one day a week (upon approval). Office hours are either 8:30 am to 5:30 pm or 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

We are a prominent Korean fried chicken restaurant chain with 34 locations spread across Malaysia, dedicated to serving our customers with authentic Korean flavors.

Location : Puchong, Selangor

Position Summary:

As the Operations General Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the daily operations of our company, ensuring excellence across all our stores. This role entails strategic planning, process enhancement, team leadership, and collaboration with other department heads to meet business objectives. The Operations General Manager plays a pivotal role in upholding operational standards, improving efficiency, and fostering growth.

Reporting to: CEO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy and Execution : Develop and implement operational strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, while aligning with the company's strategic goals.
  • Team Leadership and Development : Lead, inspire, and develop the operations team to cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and elevate service delivery.
  • Performance Management : Monitor operational performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish improvement objectives accordingly.
  • Compliance and Quality Control : Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and uphold quality standards in all operations.
  • Supplier and Inventory Management : Oversee supplier relationships and inventory management to ensure product availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Customer Satisfaction : Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and effectively address feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity.
  • Proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency and expertise in process optimization.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Korean is an added advantage.
