Job Purpose To assist Assistant Manager in managing overall pre-development planning that includes Project feasibility, Design Brief , Authorities Submission and Project implementation as per the time frame, cost and quality objectives
Job Responsibilities Operations
- To assist in preparing project feasibility study and recommendations on design and development concept, preliminary program , budget and authorities
- To assist in submission process and getting with the authorities
- To assist in managing and monitoring the completion of construction works within contract value and to reduce the occurrence of variation orders entailing additional cost whilst ensuring quality products and timely completion
- To assist in supporting the implementation of the quality, health, safety and environment management system i.e. policies, activities, procedures, instructions where relevant as per SOP and ISO quality standard
- To assist in preparing monthly project management report for management meeting
Job Responsibilities (Con't) Stakeholder Management
- To assist in collaborating with R&D I to prepare development/project brief, which include setting time, cost and quality objectives for the project
- To assist in obtaining CFO/CCC through coordination with project teams, utility providers and local authorities as per schedule
- To collaborate with external parties (contractor, local authority) and internal design team (R&D I) to ensure smooth implementation of projects
Job Responsibilities (Con't) People & Communication Management
- To assist in planning and organizing staffing requirement for projects
Job Responsibilities (Con't) Impact / Accountability - To assist in managing overall identified project phases from pre-development planning up to project implementation as per the time frame, cost and quality objectives
- To support in practicing good management in order to avoid unnecessary escalation in cost and time
- To assist in providing timely submission process and approval
- To assist in ensuring smooth progress and timely completion of a project phase according to planned schedule is equally important vis-à-vis quality
Education/Professional Qualification Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Building or other related disciplines/programmes
Professional Experience Competencies Risk Management Governance, Risk and Integrity: Understand, at minimal:
- The Group and BU/OU/Support Department governance structure and process;
- BU/OU/Support Department operating parameters;
- Laws, rules and regulations impacting BU/OU/Support Department area of operations;
- The Group's principles and requirements of the Group's Code of Business Conduct (COBC), Group Policies and Authorities ('GPA') and related policies and procedures.
- The basic application of risk management in the BU/OU/Support Department area of operations;
