Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years working experience is preferred.
• Experience in .Net and Java and Linux Operating System.
• Strong domain knowledge in the payment industry is an added advantage.
• Analytical mindset with good problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision and beyond the extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• You will be part of a team of software engineers and you will primarily be involved in the testing stage of the payment system delivery of the project where you shall be responsible for the overall testing of the payment application.
Other responsibilities includes:
• Coordinating with the development team, business analysts and the project manager to get an in-depth understanding of the application and the scope of the testing requirements.
• Going through the application requirements and design documents (ie. Solution Design Document, Technical Specification, Project Scope Delivery) to prepare test methodologies and test strategies, including functional, system, user acceptance and performance testing.
• Preparing test data and ensuring its availability, integrity and relevance.
• Setting up and configuring test environment, including software installations, hardware configurations and network setups.
• Preparing and executing test cases, scenarios and scripts for comprehensive testing, define severity and priority for each defects.
• Carry out regression testing whenever changes are made to the code.
• Analysing test results and evaluating the quality of software using different metrics, such as test efficiency, negative scenarios, automation and pass rate.
• Creating and maintaining documentation, including test plans, cases, scripts and reports.
• Updating project manager regularly on the progress of testing.
