Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations by improving production processes, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role focuses on maintaining process stability, monitoring performance and yield, and driving continuous improvement to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Job Description:

1. Provide technical support and effective solutions to resolve critical issues in the assembly line.
2. Ensure all processes are executed in full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
3. Monitor and analyze performance at QA gates, SPC trends, and yield results to maintain process stability and quality.
4. Drive process optimization and continuous improvement through Design of Experiments (DOE) and machine capability studies.
5. Perform verification and detailed analysis on defective parts to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
6. Preferably possess experience in Flip Chip / SMT /Backgrind / Wafer Saw / Molding / Wafer AOI processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. Preferably with experience in the semiconductor industry or with similar job responsibilities.
3. Knowledge of DOE, SPC, and quality tools will be an advantage.
4. Independent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
5. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Fluent in spoken and written English.
7. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage to liaise with respective customers.
8. Work location: Simpang Pulai or Gopeng, Perak.
