Account & Relationship Management (Sales)
Our client, a MNC Chemical manufacturer that specialise in hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services is currently looking out for a Key Account Manager under their pest division. Your responsibilities will include cultivating new client prospects and nurturing existing relationships, ensuring a sustained partnership that enhances the overall value proposition for their clients.
Description
You will be reporting to the Head of Department and your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the Key Accounts portfolio, ensuring growth and exceeding budgetary targets.
- Crafting tailored strategies and cultivating robust relationships with clients to establish a formidable presence within their organisations.
- Managing an existing client portfolio, leading negotiations, managing contractual terms, and overseeing contract renewals.
- Collaborating closely with field teams to ensure the seamless delivery of commitments as per contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Adhering to corporate protocols and processes for prospecting, deal structuring, and finalizing proposals.
- Serving as an ambassador for the brand, emphasizing cleaning and safety, water management, sustainability, efficiency, and innovation.
- Achieving targeted sales growth while maintaining profit margins aligned with objectives.
- Staying abreast of product and service offerings, sales philosophy, policies, processes, and industry trends to facilitate contract closures.
- Partnering with our service team, Corporate Account Team, and internal stakeholders to implement best practices for resolving customer pest issues.
Profile
The successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in business-to-business field sales.
- Proficiency in English and Malay.
- Strong customer service orientation with exceptional relationship-building skills, particularly with senior decision-makers.
- Pest elimination and / or hotel and restaurant and / or Food manufacturer selling experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Sound business acumen, including financial understanding and analytical prowess.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in technology and analytical tools, including CRM software, Excel, and PowerPoint.
