Penerangan Pekerjaan - Product Specialist

  • Take responsibility for annual sales target. Carry out adequate ethical and operating plans, implement and take actions to meet company goals.
  • Measure progress against plans and communicate to Sales Manager. Work on achieving success stories, positive performance.
  • Manages internal and external communication.
  • Plan calls on all the assigned target audience at a frequency as spelt out in the itineraries so as to achieve effective coverage at the minimum cost and time required.
  • To make product presentations in a professional manner to the healthcare professionals or other decision makers in order to gain their support to the company's products.
  • To maintain at all times an up-to-date Doctors/Customers system and key in daily on the assigned target audience highlighting their prescribing pattern and other vital information relevant to the planning of promotional programs.
  • To ensure timely submission of all Reports, Acknowledgement Chits, itineraries, system, etc as instituted by the company.
  • To identify potential prescribers and develop them into regular supporters of our Company's products.
  • To keep the management informed of all competitors' activities and other developments within the assigned territories which are likely to affect sales of the Company's products and the promotional programs of the company.
  • To ensure that all professional goods and promotional materials of the company are kept in good condition and accounted for.
  • To follow and undertake all activities as instituted by the Management.
  • To undertake special assignment from time to time as directed by the Management. 

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, preferably in related field.
  • Good knowledge of medical sales force and internal operating systems, policies and procedures.
  • Successful pharmaceutical sales experience in Southern region, with 1 to 3 years of working experience specializing in Sales – GP/ Hospital or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable in OTC products will be an added advantage.
  • Successful experience in conducting presentation to internal and/or external customers and possess the ability to train internal and/or external customers on product and related sciences.
  • Mastery of functional expertise and role.
  • Knowledge of return of investment and maximizes profit for the company.
  • Able to work independently and under fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and rapport building skills.
