Role Summary:
Work closely with the HR Team in providing the HR expertise and advice for the entire spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, compensation, training & development to achieve business goals and at the same time complying with corporate /regional guidelines.
Constant review of HR processes/procedures for maximum effectiveness and efficiencies.
Continue to build a positive work environment embracing BDP culture & values.
Responsibilities:
• Onboarding
Ensure the successful onboarding of new hires with the myriad of HR processes and tools.
Engage with new hires for smooth integration into the roles and BDP culture
• Employee Engagement
Work closely with business to identify the factors contributing to the high employee engagement and increasing employee retention with HR programs.
Equip and support leaders on the different engagement approaches
Organise engagement sessions and activities jointly with business.
• Training , Education and Development (TED)
Work closely with TED in executing learning & development strategies which are aligned to the corporate and business strategy.
Responsible for local training initiatives in the continuous development of company human resources.
• Compensation & Benefits
Ensure that company is in compliance with the local labour regulations.
Keep abreast of the market and consistent reviews to stay competitive.
Support the annual performance review process.
• Employee Relations
Responsible for Employee Relations’ activities including handling matters related to disciplinary actions, grievances, counselling, staff misconduct, advising and guiding management on the and the best practices employer and employee including all relevant employment laws
Establish good relationships with relevant industry players e.g., HR practitioners/consultants and related government agencies and provide advise accordingly.
• Corporate /Regional HR Priorities
Support and execute Corporate/Regional HR priorities at the country level.
Academic Qualifications
• Tertiary Education preferably in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
Experiences/Knowledge
• 5- 6 years of Human Resources experience with MNC
• Experience in the same industry will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of local labour laws and regulations.
• Good Microsoft Office Skills in Excel and Word.
