With an extensive global network of facilities in 14 countries, SDO's operations oversees the trading, manufacturing and sales & marketing of oils and fats products, palm oil-based biodiesel, nutraceuticals and other derivatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources functions & responsibilities in Pasir Gudang Refinery.
• Carry out recruitment and succession planning activities.
• Manage capabilities and performance level across the business unit.
• Ensure all HR practices are in accordance with the guidelines and policies set by the Group.
• Oversee administrative matters in the refinery.
• Ensure the payroll system is well managed for accuracy and timely payment.
• Ensure appropriate training is planned and executed for employees and adherence to annual training plan of 40 hours per employee.
• Oversee IT functions and maintenance.
• Oversee all security issues and Auxiliary Police functions in the factory.

Ideal Candidate

• Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in HR functions.
• Experience in FMCG/ manufacturing industry, as well as a background in liaising with Labour Unions and familiarity with industrial relations, is advantageous.
• Prior team management experience is desirable.
• Willingness to be based in Pasir Gudang Refinery.
