Description

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
2. Gather, process, and analyze historical data to find patterns and trends. Apply data governance approach to ensure data is accurate and consistent for effective analysis.
3. Present actionable insights and findings to the business stakeholders using data visualization techniques.
4. Assist seniors to carry out research and development (R&D) on the new data science use cases, initiatives, and technologies.
5. Apply various data science technologies: statistical analysis, machine learning and pattern recognition with subject-specific modelling to address opportunities in business performance.
6. Assist seniors to carry out computer vision activities such as image annotations / labelling and predictions.
7. Assist seniors to deploy productions algorithm using Cloud Technologies.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent or higher in a relevant discipline (such as Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics)
2. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with statistical knowledge
3. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
4. Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
5. Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks.
6. Familiar with computer vision technologies will be an added advantage.
7. Familiar with deep learning fundamentals will be an added advantage.
8. Familiar with Cloud Technologies tools will be an added advantage.
