DESCRIPTION OF ROLE (WITH ATLEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

The role is responsible for leading and directing the marketing division, including digital marketing, advertising, communications and creative teams. To develop marketing plans, allocate resources and set short-term and long-term goals. The role needs to analyze consumer behavior, identify market opportunities and design branding strategies. Also to coordinate sales and marketing efforts and participate in company planning. Ultimately, their role is to drive brand awareness, enhance profitability, and achieve marketing objectives.

RESPONSIBLILITIES

The Head of Marketing Division report to the Sales & Marketing Department Manager and is responsible for:

• Supporting the Company’s corporate marketing and national reputation building efforts by assisting in the development of market summaries and analyses of key audiences, segments and business activities.
• Serving as a central resource for the research, collection, distribution, and presentation of market insights, market share and competitive data for use by internal Company’s stakeholders/clients.
• Preparing data and performing analyses, as required, to support the marketing process. Reviewing and integrating environmental analysis, general market research, and competitor positioning (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features).
• Lead ad hoc market research projects in support of efforts within the department project areas, such as writing and content development.
• Assessing operational benchmarks and general economic influences. Developing spreadsheets, charts, dashboards and presentation materials as needed.
• Crafting strategies for all Marketing teams, including but not limited to Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative.
• Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.
• Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business Studies / Management / Advertising.
• Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
• Innovative thinking and creative market planning skills.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Serdang/Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
• 4-5 years minimum of working experience in sales, marketing or business development role. Preferably experience in medical devices industries or healthcare related.
• Applicants MUST possess strong competencies in speaking and writing for Bahasa Malaysia and English.
