Head of Operations/RI - Gloucestershire - Up to £68,900

Here at Hampton's Resourcing we are delighted to be working in partnership with a small yet well-established children's residential care provider who are on the lookout for a Head of Operations/Responsible Individual to oversee their children's residential and supported living services based in Gloucestershire. This role is the perfect opportunity for an Ofsted expert to provide the best possible care to vulnerable young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Our client have a variety of settings designed to meet a set of specific needs from children's homes, supported living and temporary accommodation. They aim to provide a safe, stimulating environment for young people using a holistic service to provide quality housing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality assurance frameworks are adhered to and assure themselves that they and their managers know the quality of work they oversee, and continuously work to drive up standards
• Work in partnership with the Directors to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services which meet the Company's strategy and plans
• Ensure good analysis of performance, quality, and decisions for all areas of responsibility and ensure the approach taken to development and improvement reflects a learning and reflective organisation
• Lead business development across services whilst providing autonomy to innovate

Skills and Experiences:

• Proven operational and strategic leadership and management experience in sectors which have led to positive and improved outcomes/provisions for children
• Achieve company objectives by building on performance and team strengths, through strong relationships both inside and outside of the company
• Awareness of sector specific legislation, regulations, and guidance (children's regulations and Ofsted frameworks)
• Flexible, creative, self-starter, focused, able to understand how their approach impacts on others and can adapt it to suit different audiences and situations

Salary: Up to £68,900
