They are well-established in Malaysia and currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Principal Structural Engineer to join our Built Environment sector in their Kuala Lumpur office. • The candidate shall be engaged in delivery design, submission, construction support, as-build and completion of our projects. Their other duties include:
• Undertake detailed design in foundation, concrete and steelworks Structures.
• Develop design concepts and construction methodologies and provide leadership in sectional project execution.
• Provide design sketches and reports required for schematic, design development and constructions phases of projects.
• Provide detailed engineering computations and analysis as required for the statutory submission.
• Attending technical / progress meeting with clients and inspections during construction.

Candidate Specification: About You:

• Degree of B Eng (Civil) recognise by Professional Engineering Board (Malaysia).
• Minimum 8 years post graduate experience with consultant background in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
• Proficient in 3D design programmes i.e. Robot, TSD, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE etc.
• Experience with complex structural design.
• Familiar with the latest international codes of practice (Singapore Code, Eurocode etc).
• Familiar with Revit and delivering projects in BIM.
• Willing to mentor junior colleagues.
