Project Manager (IT Software)

• Determine and define project scope and objectives.

• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.

• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.

• Track project costs in order to meet budget.

• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.

• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.

• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field is preferred.

• At least 7 years of work experience, with at least three years of project management experience.

• Have worked closely across business and engineering teams in building and launching software application products.

• Experience with writing business cases, functional requirement requirements, and design documents 

• Experienced in building B2B or B2C Software products. 

• Experience in developing APIs and/or building products reliant on third-party APIs would be an advantage. 

• Expert in product management methodologies and tools such as agile, scrum and JIRA.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Huayu. Adept at communicating with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.

• Able to engage stakeholders and manage their expectations. 

• Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and to prioritise tasks effectively. 

• A good analytical and critical thinking mindset with good attention to details and a problem-solving approach.

• Capable of performing qualitative and quantitative analysis. 

• Extremely analytical and data-driven in making decisions.

• Flexible in implementing product experiments based on a clear set of criteria. 

• Excellent communicator across internal and external stakeholders. 

• Outcome driven mindset is a must. Individuals with an entrepreneurial bent of mind would be a great fit.
