Penerangan Pekerjaan - Regional Human Resources Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner in Malaysia to join Leica Geosystems, a part of Hexagon which provides innovative solutions for the Surveying, Construction and Civil Engineering segments.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong generalist background experience in the Asia region which includes Japan, South Korea and South East Asia. The person will be hands on as well as strategic and able to operate independently as well as part of a team in a matrix environment. The position will provide support for Sales and Sales Operations within the region.

This appeals to you

  • Act as a 'sparring partner' for the Regional President and the management team. Actively participate in regional strategy sessions and business review meetings to provide input on initiatives and issues, maintain awareness, and present relevant updates
  • Translate business objectives into projects with clearly defined scope, timing, deliverables, resources, and key measures of success. Managing and delivering such projects
  • Support the strategic and operational growth of the businesses, from the HR perspective, through programs, policies, support and advice to the management teams
  • Coordinate with local HR to meet the needs of the business and employees, ensuring seamless process implementation and communication
  • Provide consultation and direct involvement with employee relations issues and performance problems to work through to solution
  • With the regional President and other business leaders, develop strategic resourcing plans including, organizational development, talent development and succession
  • Build regional diversity and inclusion strategy to increase regional capabilities in cross-cultural intelligence, mitigating unconscious bias, and inclusive leadership
  • Actively support the recruitment of talent and onboarding of new employees. Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure quick and successful assimilation of new employees
  • Work with managers to define and implement action items to drive employee engagement. Facilitate engagement projects/programs related as agreed to with business leaders
  • Work with managers to ensure that the principles of Performance Management are being implemented effectively. Provide training and coaching as needed
  • Identify training and development needs within area of responsibility and work with managers to develop solutions working in cooperation with Global People Development
  • Manage remuneration and incentive process in area of responsibility
  • Support due diligence and integration activities for company acquisitions

This is you

  • Significant HRBP and generalist HR background. Experience working with a sales oriented organisation is helpful
  • Strong leadership and influence skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience partnering at with managers within a complex, matrix organisation
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment or independently
  • Willingness to take initiative and work in a self-sufficient manner
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and further development of skills
  • Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the company professionally
  • Ability to analyse and communicate risks and apply strategies to minimize them
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability
  • Commercial acumen and insight
  • Ability to think and act strategically as well as implement on a tactical level
