Logistics & Custom Clearance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with QC Team, Planner, and Logistics Colleagues activities for the efficient movement of goods.
• Monitor and optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs and enhance productivity.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
• Conduct analysis of logistics operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards related to transportation and logistics activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as shipping records, invoices, and reports.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on logistics performance and key metrics.
• Prepare and submit documentation for customs clearance, including import/export declarations, permits, and licenses.
• Calculate and process duties, taxes, and other fees associated with international shipments.
• Communicate with customs authorities and other government agencies to resolve issues and obtain necessary approvals.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize delays.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Business or similar field.
• Preferably 5 year(s) of working experience in Supply Chain/Store Department /Warehouse management
• Previous experience in customs clearance, customs brokerage, or related field strongly preferred.
• Proficient in MS. Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
• Must have Malaysia custom and shipping knowledge.
• Preferred candidates fluent in Mandarin, English, Malay.
