Offshore Fabric Maintenance Lead

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in Oil & gas operations, maintenance, construction, maritime OR equivalent Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas.

• IMM/NACE/SSPC Level 1 Coating Inspector certification or equivalent

• Valid Tropical BOSIET with EBS and Travel Safely by Boat (OPITO Approved)

• Valid H2S Basic Safety Training

• Valid medical and fit to work

• Familiar with material inspection and coating systems and requirements and has working knowledge in blasting and painting activities.

• Proficient in English both verbal and written, analytical, good time keeping, proactive and self-driven mind-set.

• Trained in ePTW Management Procedure.

Working Experience:

• Possess at least 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas operations, maintenance, construction, and maritime industry. Other requirements:

• Be computer literate and can use computer for communication, recording, planning and sending report DPR etc.

• Able to work well with all levels personnel and with minimum supervision.

• Self-starter with strong organizational written and oral communication skills

• Exhibit a positive attitude and an effective team player

Key Responsibilities:-

• Ensure full compliance of LSR during offshore execution.
• Manage offshore HSSE in accordance with the Maintenance Execution HSSE Plan.
• Reporting to and action on work request from Senior Fabric Maintenance Engineer from time to time.
• Manage, monitor and report the progress of all blasting and painting inspections for timely completion and raise any offshore issue with mitigation plan to Senior Fabric Maintenance Execution Engineer and Execution Engineer.
• Monitor visual and record coating inspection report to be verified by Execution Engineer.
• Supervise and perform all required blasting and painting inspections executed by offshore fabric maintenance team.
• Understand the inspection testing protocols (ITP) and its limitations, etc. Implement Quality and HSSE requirements during testing.
• Leading overall offshore execution planning/milestones, managing offshore resources, crew change handover efficiently and interface with relevant parties to make sure the offshore progressing within timeframe, budget and specification.
• Interface with Operation team regarding offshore HSSE issues/practices (e.g., ePTW, JHA, Lifting procedure, emergency response etc.)
• Interface with Execution Engineer and QA/QC regarding the STQ (Site Technical Query), red line marked up and any engineering issue raised by offshore fabric maintenance team members during offshore execution.
• Ensure fabric maintenance activities is executed in per the approved/agreed work pack.

• Track and monitoring the progress and record work done and look ahead of 14 days’ plan.

• Ensure flawless coordination of material delivery status/priority including the logistic flow as per planning and schedule.
• Interface with other team members on all other aspect of work s such as contract, procurement, HSE, QA/QC and any other requirements to ensure smooth offshore execution.
• Attend “Offshore Safety Briefing” every morning with offshore fabric maintenance team members.

• Attend “Progress Meeting” in daily basis with Execution Engineer and update progress on the huddle board.
• Attend weekly “Onshore-Offshore Teleconference Meeting” with Execution engineer and Senior Fabric Maintenance Execution Engineer
• Develop and maintain the condition of the company owned inspection tools, surface preparation and painting equipment.
