SHIPPING EXECUTIVE / H.O.D

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To be responsible for the overall management of logistics and its operations.
• To ensure smooth flow and delivery of parts to meet customers' requirements.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations and legal and health and safety requirements.
• Ensure that the jobs are carried out efficiently through close monitoring and follow-up with declaration section, loading section, haulage section, general transport, warehouse section and shipping agent.
• Responsible to identify custom tariff code, and updating the system on each job workflow,
• To coordinate with forwarders on vessel/air freight bookings.
• Responsible for custom exemption submission/ approval.
• Responsible for all Monthly/ Yearly Custom reports including submission.
• Responsible for LMW license audits & renewal including AEO.
• Perform compliance audit on permits and forms associated with the LMW regulations.
• Prepare application for customs exemption for import/export.
• Manage and control departmental expenditures within the budgets.
• To guidance and provide on the job training for department staff.
• Ensure all reports are submitted in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENT:

• Have at least 3 years experience in the LMW industry.
• Able to work independently and min. supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literate, self-motivated & with a high degree of responsibility.
• KEK certificate is advantage.
