What you will do:

• Provide 2nd level incident, problem and vendor escalation for Server Technologies (AIX, HP-UX, LINUX, Virtualization)
• To provide Technical expertise on areas of specialty like System Performance, the Virtualization and tuning the infrastructure software deployed in IT Services.
• Work as Virtual Team within the Linux Hosting Platform and other ITS counterparts on Global Projects and assist them in implementing and communicating global standards within the ITS
• Work with related vendors, and other authorized third-party vendors in order to provide 2nd line support to the Data Centre.
• Internally work with Database, Middleware and Telecoms team to achieve the best results for Performance Testing or NIA, Capacity Planning and Enterprise Tools testing and deployment
• Key focus is to provide Technical Expertise to Linux platform services, ITS Cost Efficiency, Infrastructure and Data lifecycle management, Security and Global Standards.
• Apply industry standard methodologies and frameworks.
• Provide guidance to junior team members when needed

Required skills and experience:
# Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent engineering experience is required
# 2 years+ experience in Linux/Unix system administration and infrastructure under data center environments
# Provide 2nd level incident, problem and vendor escalation for Server Technologies (AIX, HP-UX, LINUX, Virtualization)
# To provide Technical expertise on areas of specialty like System Performance, the Virtualization and tuning the infrastructure software deployed in IT Services.
# Work as Virtual Team within the Linux Hosting Platform and other ITS counterparts on Global Projects and assist them in implementing and communicating global standards within the ITS
# Work with related vendors, and other authorized third-party vendors in order to provide 2nd line support to the Data Centre.
# Ability to work independently and under pressure when need arises
# Internally work with Database, Middleware and Telecoms team to achieve the best results for Performance Testing or NIA, Capacity Planning and Enterprise Tools testing and deployment
# Key focus is to provide Technical Expertise to Linux platform services, ITS Cost Efficiency, Infrastructure and Data lifecycle management, Security and Global Standards.
# Demonstrate ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style
# Customer oriented
# Willing to work on-call during weekend on need basis
# Fluent in English including in writing
# From technical perspective the main areas of expertise required are:
. Operating Systems experience (Redhat, HPUX, AIX)
. Hands-on experience on clustering technologies including VCS and MC-Service Guard
. Familiar with Veritas product including Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas File System
. Basic experience in scripting skill. Eg. Bash, Perl, Php, Ansible
. Has experience with hardware and architectures Eg. HP, IBM or Huawei hardware
