Field & Equipment Service Technician

We  is seeking a highly motivated and reponsible Factory & Field Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service & equipment services by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing repairs on a variety of machinery in both our factory and customer field locations.

Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on factory equipment according to established procedures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions in the factory and at customer sites.
Conduct repairs on a variety of machinery, using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Replace defective parts and ensure proper equipment calibration and functionality.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex equipment issues.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working in both factory and field environments.
May provide technical support and training to production personnel on proper equipment operation.
Travel to customer sites for on-site service calls (frequency may vary)
 

Qualifications:

1 year of experience in a factory or field service technician role (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing a variety of machinery is a plus.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team and communicate clearly with customers.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently under pressure.
Must be a self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required (may require a commercial driver's license for some positions).
Ability to travel as needed is a plus.
