Academicians (Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electronics)

Job Requirements: 

• Candidates must have at least Bachelor's Degree, Master and PhD qualification in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electronics engineering & registered with BEM as a graduate engineer
• Experiences of teaching, managing courses deliverables and supervising postgraduates and undergraduate students
• Strong record of research in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electronics engineering and sciences related areas
• Able to develop and lead quality research and attract external fundings
• The candidate should have an established track record of publishing in high impact journals

Skills & Qualities Required: 

• Mechatronics - Must be proficient in the areas of Robotics / Mechatronic / Artificial Intelligent
• Mechanical - Must be proficient in the areas of Mechanical System Design/ Computer Integrated Manufacturing / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning/ Mechanical Vibrations / Computational Fluid Dynamics/ Thermofluids
• Electronics - Electronics circuit design and microcontrollers
• Able to convey complex ideas and concepts to students in a clear and understandable manner which involves structuring lectures, designing course materials, and utilizing teaching methodologies that cater to diverse learning styles
• Must possess strong analytical, complex problem-solving skills & designing innovative solutions
• Able to adapt teaching methods, changes in curriculum, technology, and educational trends

Job Duties: 

• Able to develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, labs and manage mechatronics, mechanical and electronics engineering courses
• Able to design and deliver quality teaching, tutorials and handling lab sessions utilising innovative and proven pedagogical practices that stimulate learning
• Able to manage courses deliverable and mentoring/supervising undergraduate students
• Able to publish in good journals, transactions, conferences, etc.
• Able to develop good research proposal, has the potential of securing a grant and lead a research team
