Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
- Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements.
- Process payments for expenses in accordance with approved procedures and agreed credit terms.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements, audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
- Manage recruitment activities, including but not limited to preparation of job descriptions, posting job advertisements, arranging interviews, preparing employment contracts, and onboarding.
- Manage staff leave applications and claims.
- Handle filing of employee income tax forms.
- Prepare monthly payroll.
- Assist in the implementation of new processes and systems when required.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a relevant field.
- Previous experience as an HR or Accounting executive/officer within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to delegate effectively.
- Capable of evaluating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting problems.
- A team player with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
