APAC Controlling Manager

This job requires you to be in charge of Costing and FP&A. You will be managing and assisting the Senior Manager to maintain smooth operation of the Controlling Team.

Description

You will in be in charge of

Cost Management & Analysis:Develop and implement comprehensive cost control plans and budgets aligned with organizational goals.Analyze cost data to identify trends, variances, and potential cost savings opportunities.Prepare cost reports and presentations for stakeholders, providing clear and concise cost breakdowns.Monitor and track project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgets and identifying areas for cost optimization.Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and terms. Risk Management & Mitigation:Proactively identify and assess potential cost risks associated with projects or operations.Develop contingency plans to mitigate identified risks and minimize their financial impact.Implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget and operational expenses are optimized.Process Improvement & Reporting:Continuously evaluate and improve cost control processes for efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure accurate and timely cost reporting practices across various departments and projects.Collaborate with other departments like engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure cost-conscious decision-making.Team Leadership & Communication:Lead and mentor a team of cost control professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities.Communicate effectively with all levels of management to ensure clear understanding of cost control strategies and objectives.Provide accurate and timely cost information to support informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Profile

You will be suitable for the this role if you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus).Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a cost control or project management role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost control software (e.g., MS Excel, project management tools).In-depth understanding of cost accounting principles and cost management frameworks.Experience in a relevant industry (depending on the company) is a plus.

Job Offer

You will be rewarded with an attractive of RM 14000- RM 17000 monthly.
