Business IT Analyst Demand Planning

As an IT Analyst specializing in Demand Planning Systems for our multinational food company, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing IT systems crucial to the Global Supply Chain function. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, your responsibilities will focus on ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of applications related to demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management.

What we ask

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Analyst with a focus on Demand Planning Systems in a multinational or large-scale enterprise.
• Knowledge of demand planning processes, forecasting methodologies, and associated applications (o9, OMP, SAP APO, BY/JDA, SAP IBP etc).
• Familiarity with ERP systems, integration, and manufacturing industry best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Application Support:

• Provide expert-level support for Demand Planning Systems, including OMP, SAP APO, and other relevant applications.
• Collaborate with end-users and technical teams to resolve complex system issues promptly.

System Enhancement and Optimization:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand demand planning requirements and contribute to the enhancement and optimization of Demand Planning Systems.
• Participate in the testing and validation of system upgrades and new releases.

User Training:

• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on the efficient use of Demand Planning Systems.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure user proficiency and adoption.

Integration Management:

• Collaborate with IT integration teams to ensure seamless integration between Demand Planning Systems and other enterprise systems.
• Manage data flows and interfaces to optimize information exchange.
• Incident and Change Management

Collaboration with Supply Chain Teams:

• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain teams to understand operational requirements and ensure that IT solutions align with demand planning and forecasting needs.
• Participate in regular meetings to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

Data Governance:

• Work with data governance teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within Demand Planning Systems.
• Implement and enforce data management best practices.
