Clinical Trainer (Aesthetics Medical Device)

Job Description

Reporting to General Manager, as the Clinical Trainer, the incumbent is responsible for:

1. Training and Education

Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals, nurses, aestheticians, or other medical staff on how to use various aesthetic medical devices safely and effectively. This includes both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice.

2. Device Application and Operation.

Operate aesthetic medical devices during training sessions to demonstrate proper usage techniques. Provide hands-on guidance to clients to ensure they gain practical experience.In some roles, directly apply treatments to subject as part of a demonstration or training module.

3. Sales Support

Work closely with sales teams to provide demonstrations and technical knowledge that can assist in the sales process. Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to showcase and demonstrate medical devices. Provide insights to sales and marketing teams on the competitive landscape and potential improvements for the device.

4. Customer Support Offer.

Ongoing support to customers (medical practices and professionals) who have purchased the devices, including troubleshooting and addressing any usage concerns. Gather feedback from users to provide to the manufacturing or development team for potential improvements.

5. Clinical Support and Research.

In some cases, assist in clinical research studies related to the medical devices by providing technical expertise or operational support. Stay informed about clinical findings and integrate this knowledge into training programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Possess minimum diploma in science / in a clinically-based subject or equivalents
• At least 1 year experience in a clinical training or clinical specialist role within the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry, ideally in aesthetics.
• Proficiency in facilitation, training, coaching, event management, and the preparation and delivery of workshops and training solutions.

• Candidates must have delivered training sessions to groups of people
• Desirable Experience of delivering clinical training programmes is advantageous. Co-ordinating or managing training programmes is desirable.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to travel
