Role Description

1. Responsible for effective communication and coordination regarding all tax-related matters within the company. Act as the primary point of contact for tax inquiries and issues.
2. Strategize and implement tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position and maximize available tax incentives and benefits. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and tax laws to identify opportunities for tax optimization and cost savings.
3. Assist in the preparation and timely submission of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary financial information for tax reporting purposes.
4. Provide tax planning recommendations to senior management to optimize the company's tax position and minimize tax liabilities. Conduct research and analysis to support strategic tax planning initiatives.
5. Participate in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as necessary. Respond to inquiries and provide documentation to support tax positions and compliance efforts.
6. Develop and maintain documentation of tax policies, procedures, and internal controls. Ensure compliance with established tax policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills and Finance expertise
• Experience in financial analysis, financial reporting
• Knowledge of financial management principles and practices in Malaysia
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
