Facilities - Compound Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans/servicing contracts with external contractors and vendors for the maintenance and upkeeping of building (internal & external), road works, landscaping, general compound, water system and fire fighting system.
• Regularly inspect and evaluate the compound's infrastructure, identifying potential areas for improvement and implementing necessary upgrades.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and systems.
• Manage inventory and procurement of necessary supplies and equipment related to facilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and building codes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members regarding facilities compound-related matters.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements to continuously improve the compound's efficiency and functionality.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or any related field.
• 2-4 years (s) of working experience in manufacturing industry is required for this position.
• Candidates with experience in food industry will be an advantage.
• Required skill(s): MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Able to coordinate, take ownership and respond to critical breakdown fast.
