Maintenance Technician

• Carry out planned maintenance activities such as Preventive Maintenance duties, troubleshooting and repair of machinery.
• Timely writing and recording in maintenance reports for repair works done, monitoring of machine conditions and upkeep of utility records.
• Quickly respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and minimize production downtime.
• Liaising with machine supplier and contractor on machine technical matters.
• To optimize cost of maintenance.
• To observe the product and system in order to ensure it is well maintained in order for end user convenient.
• To assist in all servicing work as and when required.
• Maintain proper safekeeping of maintenance tools, measuring instruments, spare parts and other equipment.

; JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Electrical/ Mechatronic/ Engineering studies.
• 3 to 5 years’ maintenance work experience and related technical skills required in reading electrical, working with electrical/mechanical instruments, and basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of 5S,TPM, and basic maintenance report writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Fast learner and adaptable to manufacturing conditions.
• Able to speak boldly and express new ideas on engineering solutions.
• Team person and able to work across departments / with other colleagues.
