Purchasing Specialist

Open Position: Purchasing Specialist (MNC Food Packaging Company) A MNC Food Packaging Company is looking for Purchasing Specialist to lead purchasing and negotiation activities to be based in Selangor plant. Key requirements include:

• Responsible for all activities of purchasing including negotiation and managing raw materials on time.
• Work with other departments like Production to make sure materials and tools are used effectively.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure availability of raw materials for Production to run.
• Ensure safety stock levels are met by working with Warehouse.
• Keep track of quality and delivery of suppliers and ensure they are of highest standards.
• Ensure cost competitiveness by having effective negotiations steps.
• More than 5 years in manufacturing environment or FMCG.
• Strong negotiation skills and good in inventory management.
