We have openings in Johor and Selangor , and the role offers promising advancement prospects. The successful candidate could progress from the role of a Senior Business Development Technologist to that of an Assistant Business Manager, and ultimately a Business Manager.Â

 Get ready to take on an exciting commercial role! As a Senior Business Development Technologist, you'll be responsible for:Â

• Driving sales and meeting targets by developing new projects and business aligned with our company strategies.Â
• Staying on top of the latest market trends, competitors, and customer insights to gain a competitive edge.Â
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers.Â
• Utilizing your commercial, negotiation, and marketing skills to develop new applications and markets in the food industry by leveraging your technical knowledge.Â
• Material Planning and coordinating technical and commercial efforts with our global Business Partners.Â
• Able to spot opportunities and work independently, drive and develop them.Â
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technologistsÂ
• Having a deep understanding of our company culture and values.Â

Requirements: Â Â

• Holds a BSc. Food Tech/Food Science/Biotechnology/Nutrition/or equivalent.Â
• Has at least 2 years of sales work experience in food ingredients. Â
• Possesses knowledge and understanding of food processing/manufacturing, with a background in dairy, beverage, bakery, savoury, or meat processing being a plus.Â
• Background in one of the following areas will be helpful: dairy / beverage / bakery / savoury / meat processing Â
• Good command of business English, and additional language skills are always welcome.Â
• Has an outgoing personality and ease with social interactions, making it easy to build strong relationships with customers.Â
• Proactive in business and commercial development, always looking for new opportunities to drive growth.Â
• Possess own vehicle and is willing to travel (both locally and outstation) to meet clients and explore new markets.Â
