In your new role you will:
- Support the implementation of the global supplier engagement program to achieve carbon reductions in the supply chain (scope 3)
- Support the implementation of the sustainability risk management framework in procurement processes to ensure respect for human rights and environmental protection across the global supply chain
- Provide sustainability trainings for procurement colleagues and suppliers in the area of human rights and carbon management with a special focus on procurement teams and suppliers in Asia
- Act as a subject matter expert for sustainability within the procurement function and managing queries from the organization or external requests
- Ensure that high-quality processes and services are delivered on time and in an efficient way
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, mathematics or a similar field of studies
- At least 1-3 year of relevant work experience in sustainability management, sustainable procurement, carbon management, renewable energy, sustainability consulting or in a similar field – preferably in semiconductor or automotive industry
- You have interest in making a difference at the intersection of sustainability and procurement with your open mindset and passion for Infineon’s success
- Using your analytical skills to turn complex information into relevant insights, interest in working with data, organized person with structured work approach
- Experience in supporting sustainability projects and using digital tools to improve work flows related to own field of expertise
- Experience in carbon emissions management; experience in interacting with suppliers on sustainability topics would be a plus
- Demonstrates the highest standards of professional behavior in dealing with stakeholders
- Fluency in English (mandatory). Speak, read, and write fluently in Chinese is a plus.
