Art Director (remote)

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

Business:

• Responsible for the visual quality of creatives, the development of visual style on projects

• Generates requirements for performers (level of knowledge, software, etc.)

• Generates and improves the workflow (for example, the transition from working with generalists to working with individual blocks/functions)

• Generates requirements for uniform standards of documentation and assets on the project: brand book, master projects, assets, requirements for collections, etc.

• Responsible for the vision and formation of the Art Lead team structure

• Develops the expertise of freelancers through tutorials, training, and technical solutions

• Helps the team assess the complexity or feasibility of ideas, can participate in ideation (with the help of art leads)

People :

• Develops Art Leads: forms personal goals, work expectations, culture

• Evaluates the level of work of Art Leads, hires new specialists for the team

Processes:

• Builds the work process of Art Leads, the process of interacting with freelancers and monitoring their work

• Participates in the formation of joint processes within the creative team

• Prioritizes the tasks and directions of the team's development

• Conducts retrospectives, gives feedback

• Collects typical production problems and finds solutions through references, set-ups, tutorials

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing art direction or senior art and motion design roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work

• Proven experience leading and managing a team of artists and motion designers in a game marketing setting

• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and operate in a fast-paced work environment

• Extensive knowledge of marketing assets creation processes from concept to final creative

• Proficiency in industry-standard art tools and software (Photoshop, After Effects, Blender, Unreal Engine etc). Familiarity with 2D and 3D

• Strong understanding of mobile games marketing creatives and their distinct visual styles

• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

• The ability to adapt to and innovate new styles and techniques

• English level - В2
